THNKS FR TH MMRS
In the tremors of a profound interpersonal fracturing, this body of work interrogates the architecture of what remains when meaning is systematically and deliberately dismantled. The artist examines the aftershocks of this displacement, employing a process of reductive abstraction that strips away the foundational anchors of memory and visual hierarchy to explore the liminal space between closure and cavity.
By excising the structural elements that traditionally command significance—the vowels within a word or the focal point of an image—the work shifts the viewer’s gaze toward the periphery of experience. What emerges is a study of absence; a quiet, structural residue of memory that persists long after its defining features have been erased. In these works, the "missing" becomes the primary subject, articulating the profound psychological weight of what is no longer there.
Selected works were exhibited in 2024 “Collage Notes”, at Espace Canopy gallery in Paris, France.
